ACR Recovery provides our clients with the care, encouragement, and moral support they need during their difficult struggle for addiction recovery. At our drug rehab centers in Sugar Land, Texas and elsewhere, we monitor clients closely during the difficult detox process, help them discover and repair the underlying causes of their addiction, and equip them with the weapons they need to fight against substance abuse, conquering their addiction once and for all. We offer an addiction recovery program for the Sugar Land, Texas area that strives to help every single patient become a better person and a stronger member of their community.
At our drug detox clinic, we keep our clients under close supervision, caring for them as they struggle through the difficult process of drug withdrawal. Addiction changes the human body, causing it to produce less chemicals for the neurotransmitters affected by the addicting substance. When the body no longer receives this artificial stimulation, the person experiences withdrawal symptoms as the body slowly learns to reproduce this neurochemical naturally again. At our substance abuse treatment facility, we make clients comfortable and cared for as their bodies slowly recover from the symptoms of prolonged dependency.
We realize that some addicts suffer from co-occurring mental health conditions. Instead of ignoring the client’s mental health conditions until the detox program has completed, we offer dual diagnosis care to make sure that both conditions get treated. We believe that a client’s mental health conditions are just as important as recovering from their addiction, so we make sure that these conditions remain treated during the detox process. Mental health should not be a stumbling block towards a complete recovery, nor should clients be forced to deal with both withdrawal symptoms and their mental health issues at the same time.
At the conclusion of the detox process, our clients begin therapy sessions. Our addiction recovery facility combines together two approaches: individual sessions and group therapy. Not every client has the same issues, and we want to make sure that we can create an environment of honesty where they can confide in a trusted member of our staff about their personal problems. We work one-on-one with clients to help them find the strategies and habits that will help them, identifying the behavioral tenancies at the root of their addiction. Alongside these individual sessions, we also run regular group therapy sessions. By interacting in a group settings, clients learn to recognize their own inner source of strength, seeing themselves in the eyes of their peers and feeling uplifted by an encouraging community.
During group sessions, our clients build the confidence and feeling of self-worth needed to stand up strong in their struggle against addiction. At our addiction treatment facility, we don’t simply treat the client’s physical addiction, but the underlying causes that lead to this addiction in the first place.
At the conclusion of therapy, we provide an aftercare program to help our clients return to their former lives, learning to readjust themselves to their former situation without falling back into old habits. We continue group and individual therapy sessions, helping clients maintain their courage and confidence, while at the same time gleaning new information about techniques they can use for the problems emerging upon returning to the real world. We also provide clients with access to various halfway homes, helping them find accommodation within a temptation free environment. We want to do everything in our power to make sure that our clients remain unwavering in their resolution to stay strong in their battle against drug addiction. We want the results of our addiction treatment center to be permanent.
Our drug rehab facility offers more than just an addiction recovery center. At ACR Recovery, we empower our clients to return to their lives as strong individuals, helping them learn skills and coping mechanisms that turn them into valuable members of their own communities.
